Module 6: American Romanticism II

In this last module of the course, you will read two of the most influential American poets of the Romantic period: Walt Whitman and Emily Dickinson. Their contrasting themes and styles challenged poetic conventions of the times and resonated with artists throughout the twentieth century. You will compare their poetry here, complete another exercise using generative AI, and work towards your final project of the course.
